New Age Web Design was started by myself, Ralph Northcott. My original business was in horticulture - a cactus nursery selling plants around the country at various flower shows. It was also a mail order business and was the first UK cactus nursery to have an online presence.

The early very expensive nature of business websites at the time prompted me to learn how to design and host my own site. The site developed into an online shop, which is still going strong and ranked as the no.1 online cactus retailer in the uk.
